Adding an Entry to the Site Log

1. From the Homescreen, tap the Site Log button.
   
   From any other screen in the app, tap the  icon in the lower menu.
2. The Site Log opens, showing all entries logged against the current project on today’s date. If the category you wish to add an entry to does not yet have any entries, tap that category (for example, tap Site Conditions to add to the Site Log).
   -OR-
   Tap the “+” in the lower right of the screen to add a new entry. 
   
   
   The Add Site Log screen opens.
   
   
   
3. Choose the Category that best fits the Site Log entry from the dropdown menu. Note that a Safety Observation may trigger a push notification to team admins via email and/or their mobile device depending on their settings.
   
   Add a Title (required), confirm the date (by default it will be added to the date you were viewing), and add notes to explain the reason for the entry.
4. Use the Add Media button to add photos, videos or other files to the Site Log entry. The Add Media menu opens. Note that it is recommended that files larger than 100MB are uploaded using wifi.
   
   

   a.	Take a picture: Use this option to open your mobile device and take a new photo for this entry. You will need to enable Field's access to your camera if you have not already done so.
   b.	Select photos: Use this option to open the photos folder on your mobile device and select one or more photos to associate with this entry.
   c.	Take a video: Use this option to create a new video for this site log entry using your mobile device. You will need to enable Field's access to your camera if you have not already done so.
   d.	Select a video: Use this option to open the videos folder on your mobile device and select a video to be associated with this entry. Note that only one video may be uploaded at a time.
   e.	Browse files: Use this option to access all files on your mobile device and select one or more to include in this entry. Note that while multiple files may be added to an entry at once, only one video may be uploaded at a time.

5. Tap the “Checkmark” button to add this entry to the Site Log, tap the “Checkmark + New” button to add this entry and another to the Site Log, or tap the “X” button to exit the screen without adding the entry.
   
   
   
6. New entries will now appear in today’s Site Log.
