- From the Homescreen, tap the Changes button.
From any other screen in the app, tap the icon in the lower menu. - The Change Order screen opens. Tap the “+” button in the lower right corner of the app to add a new change order.
- The Create Change Order window opens with the following options:
a. Close: Tap to close out of the Create Change Order screen and return to the listing of change orders. b. Project Name: The new change order that you’re adding will be associated with this project. c. New: Create a new change order from scratch. d. Duplicate: Create a new change order using an existing change order. This is helpful if you are adding a change order that is very similar to one that you have already created. e. Template: Use a template to create a new change order. Templates are helpful for easily replicating the basics of change orders that are created often. - To create a new change order:
a. Tap the New button. The Add Change Order Details screen opens. b. Enter the following detail:
i. Change Order Name: A quick overview of what the change order involves. This field is required. ii. Description: A description of what is needed in the change order. iii. Estimated Timeline Impact (in Days): The number of days that the change order is likely to delay the project. iv Estimated Total Cost: An estimate of the cost to the client for this change order. c. Tap the Next Step button. - To duplicate an existing change order:
a. Tap the Duplicate button. The Select a Change Order to duplicate screen appears. b. Tap the change order that you wish to duplicate. The Add Change Order Details screen appears. c. Modify the change order’s title so that it is different from the change order that you are copying. Update any other information needed, then tap the Next Step button. - To create a new change order from a template:
a. Tap the Template button. The Select a Change Order Template screen opens. b. Tap the template you wish to use as a starting point for your change order. The Add Change Order Detail screen opens. c. Modify the change order’s title so that it is different from the template that you are copying. Update any other information needed, then tap the Next Step button. - The Add Photos screen opens.
- Either choose photos from images that have already been uploaded into the system, or tap the “+” button in the lower right corner of the app to add a new image from your device. These images should capture the reason for the change order. Tap Next Step to continue.
- The Review and Save screen opens.
- Review the detail entered for your new change order. To edit any of the details, tap the Edit icon. Otherwise, tap the button at the bottom of the screen to save your change order.
- The change order will now appear at the top of your list with a status of pending.
