Item kits are preconfigured bundles of items that are commonly used can be added to tasks as a single group. For example, building the foundation for a commercial building may typically involve the same kinds of machinery, manpower and materials. This allows those items and their associated costs to be templatized for reuse.
- Tap the
icon in the upper right corner of the app.
- The Menu opens. Tap the Admin option.
- The Admin menu opens. Tap the Item Catalog option.
- The Items accordion menu opens. Tap the ItemKits option.
- The Item Kits listing opens, displaying the following detail:
a. Back Arrow: Tap to return to the previous screen--in this case, the Admin menu. b. Search: Type in a search term to filter the item kit listings displayed. c. Show Inactive Toggle: By default, only active item kits appear in the listing. Tap this toggle to display inactive item kits as well. d. Item Kit Name and Description: The name of the item kit and its associated description (when provided) appears in each listing. e. Item Count: This number corresponds to the total number of items found in this item kit. f. Additional Options: Tap these dots and the dropdown menu appears, displaying the option to edit this item kit or delete it. g. Expand: Tap the expand arrow to extend the data shown on this item kit, displaying all of the items it contains. Note that the associated cost detail will only display for users with the SC Cost Visibility permission. h. Add New: Tap this "+" button to add a new item kit to the listing.
