New features in this version of Office are as follows:

• Anchor Dates: Set within the project, anchor dates allow project owners and team leads (for this project) to use a single, unmovable task or milestone to create an accurate project plan. Once an anchor date is set, dependencies have been added and durations are in place, Office will auto-calculate start dates for the project, working backwards and forwards from that anchor date.
  
  

• Performance Enhancements: 

  • MS Project Import Speed: Files from MS Project now import even more quickly into Office.

  • Timeline Speed: Improvements have been made in the speeds in which the Critical Path updates (re-casting the project schedule), as well as the updates to tasks, and notifications.

  • Copying Projects: Users are no longer restricted as large projects are copied from templates within the platform.
