The following new features are available in this latest release of Smart Construction Field.

• Photo Gallery Functionality:
  • The Photos section of the app has been renamed the Gallery, and will now pull all photos/videos/files from the project and display in one location.
  • This is a central repository for photos that are added throughout the app (Site Log, Material Receipts, Tasks, etc).
  • Media files can be searched, grouped, sorted or filtered within the Gallery.
  • Viewing rights may be applied to media files, limiting to whom the files are visible.
  • Additional details will be available to view where the image came from, and who added it.
  • Users with Project Maintenance permissions will be able to add project-level attachments via the Gallery, and edit/annotate or apply visibility specifications to them as well.
  • Media files may be downloaded from SC Field.
    
    
    
• Survey Functionality:
  • User surveys can now be marked as "Required."
  • If selected, all workers will see this survey as a daily requirement. The completion status will also be included within the Daily Report.”
  • Survey permissions were made universal so that all users are able to view survey functionality.
    
• Other Optimizations + Modifications:
  • Users will now be prompted to save settings when turning on or off auto-calc functionality.
  • Optimizations have been made to retain original font sizes.
  • Item Catalog Removal:
    • In preparation for future improvements in the app, the following are no longer available: Item Catalog (Equipment Items, Labor Items, Material Items, Subsidiary Items, and Item Kits), Add Item Kit, Subcontractor Log Material Section, and Add/Edit Items via the Materials Delivery dialogue.
