New features in this version of Office are as follows:

• Enhanced Project Budget Functionality:  
  Office's budgeting functionality now allows for budgets to be entered at a granular, task level complete with resource allocation OR as project level “buckets” (AKA a Master budget). As details become solidified, the budget can be shifted to a more detailed format, if desired.

  • Resources types and/or specific resources may be added to budgets. 
  • % Allocation field available for tracking the percentage of commitment that a resource would have on a project.
  • The Master budget may be grouped by Category, Cost Code, or Resource Type.
  • Budget can be created by the various Resource Types (Labor, Materials, Equipment) as well as manually input or adjusted Miscellaneous items.
  • The budget can then be linked to individual tasks or cost codes.
  • Budget items associated with individual tasks will then be available for visualization in the Project Power Grid under the "Estimate Columns."
• Material Type Maintenance: Material Type Maintenance grid allows users to add and edit Material types via the Data Table Maintenance dialogue and the Material Receipt Power Grid.
• Vendor Functionality: Users are now able to add and edit vendors in Office via the Data Table Maintenance dialogue.
• Material Receipt Power Grid:
  • Allows the organization to log material receipt/expenses in a Power Grid format.
  • Users can log a receipt and select the appropriate Material Type & Quantity as well as override the defaulted cost values if needed.
  • Users are also able to View/Edit/Add attachments associated with the "Receipt."
  • Status can be associated with receipts (pending, approved, reconciled).
  • Receipts can be grouped and sorted by Project, Vendor, or Task.
  • Reports can be created from this Power Grid is PDF or .CSV format.
• Material Dashboard Panels:
  • Available for use in both project and portfolio level  dashboards.
  • Materials can be visualized by Project, Task, and Vendor.
  • Value options are available by Material Receipt Count and by Total Cost.
• Permissions Updates: 
  The following new permissions have been added to Office:
  • Customer Permission is now available across roles
  • Material Maintenance-1600
  • Material Receipt-4200
  • Vendor Maintenance-5000
  • Resource Budgeting-7900
• Filter Additions:
  • "Created By" and "Cost Code" filters are now available for filtering projects and tasks.
  • Teams filter is now performing as intended across the platform.
  • Time cards may now be filtered using static date ranges for effective date, changed date, or created date.
  • Independent default filter settings may now be established for journal entry, submit, approve, and General Power Grid.
• Performance Enhancements:

  • Updates have been made to improve performance when copying projects
